Entertainment, The Wall Street Journal, The LA Times, VIBE TV, MTV, Daily Variety, Hollywood Reporter, TNT, USA Networks, the Dove Awards, MovieGuide Awards, People Magazine, and the New York Times.He wrote and directed 'Fakin' Da Funk' that starred an all-star cast of Pam Grier, Bo Jackson, Nell Carter, Margaret Cho, John Witherspoon, Ernie Hudson, Kelly Hu, Duane Martin, and Tone Loc. The film was the highest rated movie on USA Networks in 2000.Chey worked as an entertainment lawyer for 2 years before calling it quits. "I refused to over-bill my clients, so I fired myself," he jokes. He spent the next 13 years writing 16 screenplays (many optioned or sold) and 3 novels. He also directs all of his work. Chey also volunteers his time for several organizations, including the Union Rescue Mission and as a counselor for the Billy Graham Organization.
